Directions

From the end of the M62 motorway at Subway, follow signs for the city centre.  This will take you along “Edge Lane Drive” straight to the city centre.  Follow the one way system into the city centre.

Follow “Dale Street” past Liverpool Town Hall (on your right) down “Water Street” towards “pier Head”.  On your right had side, take the side street called “Covent Garden”.  The Racquet Club Hotel & Ziba Restaurant is the last building on the left hand side before St Nicks Church.

Sue Clement-Evans

General Manager

I joined the team at The Racquet Club Hotel at the beginning – before there were carpets and lights!  15 years have gone by and the changes we have gone through are immense…..however our focus remains, the Weddings !!  I love looking after the weddings, from the first meeting and hearing about people plans, then as the months go on seeing the couples formulate the plan of their day.  There is nothing nicer for me than being part of peoples very special day x

Stephen McMahon

Head Chef

Starting with us as Second Chef, having worked at Oh Me Oh My prior to joining our team, Ste was promoted to Head Chef when the position became available.  Through his passion for products and how they are incorporated into our menus he has developed our menus into a modern menu.  Recently with his team they have developed the new AFTERNOON TEA menu – with all home made items.

Chris Rushton

Second Chef

Having started with us at 16 whilst studying, Chris has progressed leaving the Racquet Club, to work in places like Browns, and also more recently The Royal Hotel in Crosby. Returning to us November 17 he is a strong team player – he rises to the variety of menus we ask him to produce to met our businesses changing and challenging requirements. He has a great flare for cooking and has a diverse range of skills.

Laura Ann Dubber

Duty Manager

Having worked with us for a couple of years – Laura joined us full time and bringing her Gin and Cocktails enthusiasm to the team. Developing our range from 4 Gins to 18 Gins there are some fab products available. Laura is one of our team in the events areas and is often found chatting to the Bride and Groom, making sure that its all going to plan.

Ian Berry

Duty Manager

Starting with us this April – Ian brings with him lots of experience in the Banqueting departments, having worked in the Prince of Wales – Southport, he is used to dealing with a variety of styles of event – including Black Tie events, Weddings and an occasional Rock Concert!!!
